Staff Member for Scientific Communication

The INCF is seeking a staff member to manage our scientific communication. This individual will lead all aspects of interaction with research communities, governmental agencies, scientific publishers, and within the INCF global network.

The INCF is looking for a staff member to manage our scientific communication. This individual will lead all aspects of interaction with research communities, governmental agencies, scientific publishers, and within the INCF global network. Key responsibilities include generating a variety of documents and publicity materials, coordinating INCF outreach activities, liaising with the scientific publishing industry for partnerships, contributing to the INCF portal contents, and overseeing the Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium (http://nprc.incf.org/).

This is a vital position at the INCF and it is a great opportunity for a self-starter to take the initiative in expanding the role to shape the development of our rapidly growing organization. Compensation is internationally competitive and the title of the position is based on experience.

The minimal requirement for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in an area of science with a good command of both oral and written English. Previous management experience would be an advantage. We encourage all qualified applicants, particularly candidates with experience in scientific publishing industry, scientific communication firms, and public relation offices in academic or non-profit organizations.
