old INCF Executive Director

INCF is an independent international organization created in 2005 through the Global Science Forum of OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) to further the development of a global neuroinformatics capability with regard to databases, tool development and modelling. The INCF has rapidly acquired a prominent role in developing and coordinating neuroinformatics infrastructure. INCF has 14 member countries, from Europe, North America and Asia. The Secretariat is located at the Karolinska Institute Campus in Stockholm and is made up of an Executive Director, a Deputy Executive Director and a current staff of 11 individuals. The Secretariat interacts directly with the national neuroinformatics nodes hosted by the individual member countries. The Executive Director should have a solid background in neuroscience and neuroinformatics at the level of a full professorship and be dedicated to the demanding task of developing a global neuroinformatics capability. Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills are required. The salary level is subject to negotiation but is expected to be up to 20% above that of a full professor in Sweden.
